IT CAN ALSO BE DIFFERENT

Klaus Soppe, who has been featured in the Münchner Stadtanzeiger for some time with his caricatures, today acquired his diploma in the “Realistic Painting” department at the Academy of Fine Arts. The Munich one shown here
Homeless is a motif in the picture cycle from his exam paper, painted with acrylic paints on canvas. Soppe, born in Duisburg in 1961, learned and practiced the profession of poster painter and window designer before his talent pushed him to study at the academy in Munich. Two scholarships (Danner Foundation and Garlita Foundation) encouraged the young talent in his decision to pursue art. Soppe was a master student in Professor Robin Page's class until he graduated. He earned his spurs as a student by designing and painting the "Trend Company" of the Hertie chain in Munich and Cologne. Eleven of Soppe's works will be presented in a sales exhibition at the Samagra Gallery (Würmtalstraße 64) until November 19th.
